Project Overview:

The project, initiated by the Abu Dhabi Police, aims to improve the safety of school buses and their users through enforcement of school bus stop arm violations.

In order to ensure the safety of children, school buses are vital.

And once the school bus stops in one place, there are many cars passing the school bus quickly, which poses a potential danger to all the students who walk in front of the school bus.

Abu Dhabi police asked Hikvision to prepare a comprehensive solution to improve student safety when school buses are out of service. The project will cover 6,000 school buses.

.Solution Design:

• The ANPR camera algorithm specially designed for the school bus in the United Arab Emirates can clearly capture the license plate information of the three lanes beside the school bus when it stops.
• Synchronize the information of illegal vehicles to Abu Dhabi police station, and the police station will punish the illegal vehicles accordingly.
